Transfer Calls!!

Well Goedemorgen!! This week was a pretty crazy and an awesome week! We got transfer calls this week on Saturday and Elder Bruneau is going to Belgium and I am staying here in Den Haag with my new Companion Elder Knaupp, he is 6'8" and is from my MTC group! SO we will see how this next transfer will go!

This week work wise, was really awesome! We ended up teaching quite a lot, but also had a lot of appointments drop that were really important to us, we still need to get back in contact with some very important investigators this week! Brigitte is doing awesome, it is really cool to see her growth happening! We just need to get her to church and have her pray!! We finally had an investigator come to church, Glen. He has a baptismal date for March, so we hope he can stop with smoking and work for his baptism!

We had a Missionary Broadcast this week, and it was really just a nice uplifting missionary purpose broadcast! We go to hear from some of the General Authorities, but they taught us a lot of things and it mainly was one teaching Repentance and Baptism, I sure learned a lot and will be applying a lot into my everyday missionary work!

Remember everyone! WE BUILD THE KINGDOM!! It is amazing to see the work just go by when you are working hard and having a great time doing it, this next transfer should really awesome! It is crazy to think that by the end of this next transfer it will be March! I have been out just over 6 months! It is awesome to see the growth from that time and see how much missionary work has an impact on others, but also you! Invite everyone to do missionary work! I love this gospel and know that it is true and I know that we have a Savior that lives and to wear his name on my chest everyday, is such a blessing! I love you all and hope you have a great week! I will send more pictures next week!! Tot volgende keer (See you next time)!!

Klein Beetje Fris!! Little Bit Chilly

Well Goedemorgen allemaal!! another solid week of missionary work!! We saw a lot of miracles this week! I am so excited to share all the experiences with you this week! and it is also beginning to freeze over here in the Netherlands!! I am becoming a redheaded ijspop!

Well this week was a really good one, we had Zone Training this week, and it was super good! We learned about how to become triforce missionaries! haha it was pretty awesome! Probably one of the best Conferences I have been to so far!

As I told you this last week, we had a lady call us named Brigitte, and she wanted us to come by and teach her more, well during this appointment, we taught her the Restoration and then we asked her if she knew it was true, and she said I know it is true, so we then talked about how the next step is baptism! We ended up using a doop Calender(Baptism Calender) with her! She is praying about a baptismal date for February!! We are so excited to see how it goes with her!!

Then this Sunday for church, Elder Bruneau and I were sitting in Priesthood just listening to the lesson, when all the sudden I saw Elder Bruneau was gone, so later after the lesson was done, I went down stairs and saw Bruneau talking with someone, and his name ended up being Smith, and he was really interested in learning more! SO it is super cool to see the miracles through Missionary work!!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve as a missionary, I love being able to share the gospel with everyone and truly seeing the blessings that come from being obedient and serving the lord! I hope everyone will see missionary opportunities everyday! I hope you all have a great week! I Love you all!! Tot de volgende keer!!

Investigators Coming Back To Life!

Goedemiddag! Well this week was a very cool, long, and tirng week! But saw a lot of awesome things happen this week! Elder Bruneau and I ended up working for 42 hours this week! It was super cool that we ended up having a week like that! And it was also nice to see all of our investigators coming to life again after vacations were all over!

Well with the 40 hour week, we set up a lot of appointments with investigators, we ended up looking through our area book and saw a guy named Ricardo, and It didn't have a drop reason, so we went over to his place and had a really cool lesson, and he said he believes in being baptized through immersion so we were like so do we!! so next lesson we are going to see if he will be willing to be baptized on a date! We are super excited!!

We also ended up teaching a less active named Milagros, she is from the Dominican Republic and her Dutch isn't that good, so to the best of my ability I shared a scripture with her and testified that I knew it was true in Spanish and she ended up telling me that she really felt the Spirit, it made me happy that I was able to say something so simple, but the Lord truly touched her heart!

We also got a referall this week, and the funny thing was that is she called us wanting to learn more!! She was in Seattle with a mormon family and she went to Church and really enjoyed it! SO we are going to teach her this Tuesday! We are super excited to see how it goes and possibly invite her to be baptized!!

It was super cool to see this week, the blessings that come from working hard for the 40 hours and we knew that as long as we tried are hardest that the Lord would bless us. It was one of those weeks that I just thought, I love being a missionary! I love seeing the blessings that come from teaching people! It was a great week this week! Hopefully next week we will have some investigators on date! Talk to you all soon!! Love you all!! Tot ziens!

Happy 2016!!!!!!

Goedemiddag everyone!!! Well Happy New Year, I hope everyone set there New Years Resolutions! We had to as a mission and I hope everyone made some good goals! This week in Nederland was crazy because of New Years.

This week for the work was a little slow, because everyone was on vacation for the holidays, so hopefully we will be teaching a little more this week! We have a great week planned out this week! SO I hope we see some miracles this week!

Well I will tell you a little about New Years in Nederland, everyone takes it very serious and goes out and buys about 200 euros worth of fireworks. So the day of New Years, all you could hear was fireworks, it was like a war was going on for 24 hours. When It finally hits 12:00 it gets crazy, if I can send the video you will see how it is!

Well for the new year 2016, me and Bruneau were talking about the new year and me and him both thought to ourselves, wow we get to serve the lord for all of 2016. We thought that is so cool that we get the opportunity to do so and are super grateful that we get a whole year to focus and serve the Lord! I am grateful to be here in Den Haag and see the miracles that happen everyday in missionary work! I hope you all had a great  New Years, and that you also have a great week! I love you all and will talk to you next week!
