Elder Noah Morey: It Is Getting Hot Here, I Have The Burns To Prove It!

Goedemiddag everyone!

I hope you all had a great week and are enjoying yourself where ever you are! Well here it is getting super hot! The other day it was like 30 degrees Celsius and I believe that is 90 degress Fahrenheit. SO we were just a pool of sweat together! But this week was okay, we were really excited going into it, but a lot of things just ended up not working out. We survived though and keep on trying!

This week we had some interesting adventures happen, and also some good things happen as well! I talked about having burns in the subject to the email. I will tell you a story of how that happened and also the picture. SO we teach this Less Active, who actually has been re activated since my time here in Assen! We had an appointment with him on a day that was a holiday here called Hemelvaartsdag. In English I don't know what that is, but it is the day that Christ ascended to his Father. The dutch get a free day off on this day. I don't know why. But we went to Br. Spangenberg and he told us that we needed our bikes. SO we get there and he takes us to Mcdonalds for lunch, then afterwards takes us on a tour of Drenthe. It turned out to be really pretty and we had some good bonding time with him and shared a good message with him in the Wildlands of the Netherlands. Elder Young and I had forgotten to wear Sunscreen. SO we got sunburned. Yes Mom I will wear Sunscreen.

On Saturday our only Appointment fell through and it was one of the hottest days of the week. SO we had the privilege to go to a dorp called Haulerwijk to look some people up and contact people. Well we ended up giving out two Book of Mormons that day, One was someone we met the week before and have a lesson with next week! and the other is a nice guy that is interested in reading the Book of Mormon. So that was a great miracle day for us!

This next week we have a lot of good plans made, Weekly Planning does make a difference! I hope and pray everything goes through for us! If not I still have some doors to knock.. I hope you all have a great week and enjoy the weather and Summer! I will talk to you soon! TOT ZIENS!!!
